WHAT IS A ROOT CANAL TREATMENT?

A Root Canal Treatment is used in cases where a tooth is suffering from decay or infection. During a Root Canal Treatment, the nerve and pulp are extracted, removing all bacteria and infection. The inside of the tooth is then cleaned and sealed to prevent further infections. Root Canal Treatments are a preventative procedure which help to avoid the onset of toxic abscesses surrounding the infected tooth or teeth.
